Lost and Found Items in Vienna

In case you have lost or found something, you can contact:

• The Lost and Found Service locations of the Municipal District Offices (Magistratisches Bezirksamt), that are connected to
• The Central Office of the Lost and Found Service (Fundservice)

The document to be presented at these authorities is an official identification with photo, if available. 

If, however, the lost or found items concern or are similar to licence plates, driving licences, vehicle registration papers, and weapon permits (lost), or firearms and war material (found), as well as ammunition and explosives (lost and found), you should directly get in contact with the nearest police station.
