Important Dates

1) Students of Master and PhD programs who wish to participate in the 2010 Junior Scientist Conference are asked to hand in (upload) a two-page paper about their research work. For further details see Paper Submissions.

Paper Submission Deadline: February 15, 2010. Papers will no longer be accepted. 

The First Call for Papers was sent out on December 10, 2009. The Final Call for Papers was sent out on February 2, 2010.

2) The abstracts will be reviewed by a scientific committee which will render its decision in early March 2010. All students selected to participate in the conference will receive an e-mail notification and are then asked both to register for the conference and to prepare a poster to be shown at the conference (for details on the poster requirements see Poster).

Registration Deadline (for participation at the conference): March 28, 2010

3) After having registered for the conference, the selected students are also kindly asked to pay the conference fee via bank transfer. The payment and bank account details are listed in the acceptance e-mail. Please do note that credit card payments are not possible.

Conference Fee (paid by bank transfer until March 22, 2010): Euro 80.00
On-site registration fee: Euro 90.00

4) The conference itself will take place at Vienna University of Technology.
