From Theory to Practice: MSc Renewable Energy Systems Explores Hamburg's Energy Future

This spring, students in the Master's program in Renewable Energy Systems delved deeply into Hamburg's advanced energy projects.

Day 1: Exploration of the Innovation Harbor

The journey began with a harbor tour that guided the students through Hamburg's complex energy import infrastructure and its transition to renewable sources. Daniel, an expert from the Anti-Nuclear Office, impressively illustrated how the city is reshaping its energy policy. The tour highlighted the challenges and opportunities arising from the shift from traditional to green energy sources, providing students with the chance to see the theories from their courses applied in real-world contexts.
